    Ohio Valley College endeavors to maintain an atmosphere conducive to all aspects of personal development. With this in mind, students are expected to uphold campus regulations which are based on Christian principles. I affirm that the information given above is complete and correct to the best of my knowledge.

    I agree to the following obligations as outlined on the Bible scholarship information sheet:

  • I will complete the baccalaureate program in Bible at OVC.
  • I will actively seek full time work in ministry among churches of Christ or a related organization and field within two years of completing the course work at OVC, be involved on a full-time basis in vocational ministry, or be enrolled in a graduate program in biblical studies or a related field.
  • I will carry at least 12 hours each semester.
  • I will actively participate in campus spiritual activities.
  • I will actively participate in Bible symposiums and seminars as scheduled.
  • I will maintain high moral and ethical standards.
  • I will apply for admission to the Bible program timely, not later than the completion of 60 credit hours.
  • I will enroll in at least two Bible courses each semester beginning with my fifth semester.
  • I will make reasonable progress toward a Bible degree.
  • I will maintain a 2.5 GPA.

    I agree to the following stipulations to accepting the Bible scholarship:

  • In accepting a Bible Scholarship from Ohio Valley College, I agree to actively seek full time church work among churches of Christ within two years after completing the course work at OVC, or enroll in a graduate program in biblical studies or a related field. This work or study must be maintained for a minimum of five years. If I do not meet either of these conditions, I agree to repay my Bible scholarship in full. I understand that a credit of 20% will be applied for each year I have served in full time church work or for each year I was a full time student in qualifying graduate studies.
  • I will notify the Bible Department immediately of any change in my plans to major in Bible. I understand that scholarships for which I do not qualify may require repayment.
