Notes: Tabernacle is located east of Philadelphia about 30 miles. It is in a rural, farming community. Many of the members have been here all their lives. About one third of the congregation is transient. We average around 160 in Sunday AM attendance. We have four elders and seven deacons. We are the oldest congregation in New Jersey, dating back to 1914. We are rather conservative on the theological scale but not rabidly so. I have been here now five years. I enjoy working here and I'm sure I will make an intern's ten weeks here enjoyable as well. We are not looking for any special major but we do want the intern aware that we will work him in all areas of church work. Probably he will spend a majority of his time with the youth but he will still work in as many areas as possible. We want someone to see everything there is to see about ministry in a congregation. Notes: The Owl Hollow church of Christ is searching for a man who desires a summer internship as a youth minister. This position will last from 10-12 weeks depending on the young man’s schedule. Housing is provided.
The man chosen will be expected to teach the 7th-12th grade class on both Sunday morning and Wednesday evening. He will be expected to plan and organize activities for all the youth. All the activities do not have to include all age groups, but all age groups need to be ministered to. He will work closely with the deacon over youth and the evangelist of the congregation. He will have a wonderful support network of adults who are willing to assist in youth activities.
The Owl Hollow congregation is located 5 miles west of downtown Winchester, in Franklin County, Tennessee. Winchester is about 90 miles southeast of Nashville, 60 miles west of Chattanooga, and 40 miles northeast of Huntsville, Alabama. The facilities of the church are near Tims Ford State Park.
The congregation is around 170 people strong. We have about 20-25 kids in the 4th-12th grades.

Notes: The Montpelier church of Christ (VT) is looking for a summer intern. We are looking preferably for an intern who has a desire to work in the North east after graduation. The intern should be working toward a major in the Bible dept. The intern's responsibilities would encompass every aspect of ministry (i.e., children's, youth, adult, outreach, benevolence, counseling, etc.).
We find that immersion in ALL aspects of ministry is the best way to prepare a person for ministry in the Northeast. Compensation would be as follows. Travel up to $500 would be provided. $200 would be available for expenses accrued in the summer's ministry.
